A nod to Axbridge's history of ochre mining, and a ready made label for the much talked of yet elusive Axbridge Distillery. Is it a myth or could the rumours be true?

Axbridge is a small English town at the foot of the Mendip Hills in Somerset. These hills that rise above it hold within them an ancient history of industry and have been worked for their precious resources for thousands of years. In the foreground a mining cart winch is depicted that can still be seen buried in the ground on Axbridge Hill near the entrance to one of the disused ochre mines, and the distinctive shape of Crook Peak can be seen in the distance.

Signed and numbered two-colour print, limited edition of 100 and measuring roughly 24 x 32cm with deckle edges.

UK delivery is sent Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For and international deliveries are sent Royal Mail Tracked (5-7 days after posting). The delivery times are estimates based on the Royal Mail's website and are currently being affected by Covid-19.
